Extension and renovation Ronald McDonaldhouse Nijmegen
The Ronald McDonaldhouse offers accommodation to the parents and children of children being treated in the children clinic. The house was too small and needed to be renovated. The volume had to be doubled.
The familiar appearance of the old house is kept intact by realizing the remote extension under the tress on the side of the building. The new rooms are orientated towards the trees. The vertical windows let the daylight come deep into the building while assuring the necessary privacy to the residents.Data
