The current location of the Horizon College in Hoorn has changed. The current buildings will be partially demolished, a part of the location will be redeveloped. At the same time the new school is formed by the existing building Velius, which is renovated, and a new building volume. In the new situation all the services are put together under one roof. Old and new are connected by an atrium and footbridges. The new school houses the technical, educational, trade, economical and care educations of the Horizon College. The motto of the new scheme is Contact, Comfort, Control. Move-in-date will be March 2008 according to schedule.
