Magnet-laboratory
Nijmegen
The magnet-laboratory is an education-building of the Faculty of Physics, Maths and Information Science. Because of the special functions in the building the building has been developed independently. By means of an underground tunnel the building is connected with the other faculty-buildings. It is a unique building in that it accommodates educational facilities in combination with eminent and very complex technical installations. It is also unique because only three other similar facilities exist elsewhere in the world. The challenge was to integrate the facilities required for the building alongside cutting edge technology.Data
