Belly Button Bridges Getsewoud
White vaults in concrete
The Venneperweg road crosses twice with a bundle of waterways and slow traffic routes. Curved shapes in white concrete span road and water in one movement.
The bridge edges are cut back sharply, keeping them slender and allowing more daylight to pass under the bridge.
A number of robust openings in the concrete structure form an exciting array of see-throughs, around which the forces at play are determined.
