Gewab Site, Arnhem

Eurocommerce property development has commisioned Royal Haskoning Architecten and our colleague office de Architekten Cie in 2004 to make a design for redevelopment of the whole area. The highest point has been reached in October 2007.

The scheme consists of an extension of the Arnhem city hall, spec offices (amongst which a 60 m. high office tower), retail and horeca space, aswell as an underground carpark. The profile of the Eusebiusbuitensingel and Westervoortsedijk will be reinstated. The end result is a well fitting ensemble, a worthy entrance for the Arnhem innercity, a prestigious development next to 2nd world war monument “the bridge to far” and the monumental Eusebius church.
